Dear Members
Indian bourses surged to 2-1/2 years high in the week ended Friday (20th August), at the back of sustained buying by foreign funds and closed at 18,402 points.
SEBI in its discussion paper has recommended doubling the investment limit prescribed for defining a retail individual investor in a public issue from Rs. 1 lac to Rs. 2 lac. Three quarters of retail applications are in the size range of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1 lac.
Review of norms for investment and disclosure by Mutual Funds in Derivatives & Transferability of Mutual Fund units are couple of key circulars released by SEBI last week. For all circulars released across BFSI segment last week, request you all to access “Circular Corner” in the home page of RAIN website.
Nothing much to report on RAIN front.
With best regards
