Volume No : 1               March 2010

Dear Members

The Indian bourses edged higher in what was volatile week with a market friendly union budget 2010-2011 lifting the market sentiments. Budget includes reduction in surcharge on corporate tax, lower fiscal deficit projection, roadmap for rollout of goods & service tax(GST) and direct tax code (DTC), among others.

Foreign Institutional Investors(FIIs) inflow in February, 2010 totaled Rs. 1,460 crs and their total inflow for the calendar year 2010 totaled to Rs. 960 crs.

SEBI, NSDL & RBI have released few circulars. Request you all to access the same in the home page of RAIN website.

Nothing much to report on RAIN front this week.

With best regards
